The Rata Room is a training restaurant for our Hospitality and Cookery students. We aim to provide a realistic environment to develop work and world ready graduates for careers in the cookery and hospitality industries.

The ever changing menu features locally sourced ingredients and wines. We are fully licensed for both lunch and dinner.

There is a great selection of seasonal cabinet food, fresh daily baking and coffees. We have a ‘blackboard’ lunch menu and plenty of sweet treats.

We operate a casual drop in environment - no reservations necessary.

he Rata Room is open for 'Table d Hote' (set menu with options) on Wednesdays from 6.00pm.

Reservations are required for dinner.
