Located centrally in the centre of the Mall, Captains Steak and Seafood Restaurant and Bar provides fine dining in a cozy interior. Inside, the log fire and heated bar create a relaxing retreat while on warmer days the outdoor seating area offers diners views of Lake Wakatipu.

The entrees include the like of Seafood Chowder, Oysters, Stewart Island smoked salmon and Moroccan lamb salad. The 'mains' include signature dishes of New Zealand Lamb Rack, Reef and Beef, and Seafood Platter. Wild Fiordland Venison, Roasted Pork Belly and Karitane Crayfish all feature too.
